Paul Lascek

Paul Lascek, 88, 65 Market St., Albion, formerly of Conneaut, Ohio, died Wednesday at Brown Memorial Hospital in Conneaut.

He was born in Austria-Hungary, Feb. 12, 1901, a son of the late Joseph and Veronica Sedonia Lascek.

He was a member of St. Mary Church in Conneaut and was a former member of the Albion Moose Club.

Before retiring, Mr. Lascek was an engineer for the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.

His wife, Sophia Pilezewski Lascek, died previously.

Survivors include two sons, William Lascek of Albion and Edward Lascek of Lavina, Mich.

A private service will be held Friday.

Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Crossingville.

The Samuel J. Steff Funeral Home, 188 East State St. Albion, is handling arrangements.
