John Kremenik Sr.
John Kremenik, Sr., 65, of 619 Olin Ave., Girard, died while on vacation in Clearwater, Fla., on Monday.
Born near Albion, June 20, 1909, he was the son of the late Steven and Mary Lascek Kremenik.
He was employed for many years at the Pittsburg Ave. plant of Zurn Industries, retiring three years ago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Danko, in 1972, and by a sister, Mrs. Steven (Veronica) Durika.
Survivors include four sons: John Kremenik, Jr., of Clearwater, Fla., William P. and Robert E. Kremenik of Girard, and Ronald D. Kremenik of New Castle; three brothers, Joseph Kremenik of Girard, Andrew Kremenik of West Springfield, and Frank Kremenik of Erie; sisters, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Jolls of Wesleyville, Miss Mary Kremenik of Girard, Miss Frances Kremenik of Erie, and Mrs. Dan (Josephine) Mikovich of Albion; and two grandchildren, Jane and Sheri Kremenik.
Friends may call at the Mulligan-McCloskey Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may attend services at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John's Church at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
The Parish Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m.

Pretty MRS. JOHN J. KREMENIK, JR., shown in the bridal attire she wore at her wedding June 27, is back from her honeymoon brimming with gay notes about the Queen Elizabeth visit in Canada. The former GAYLE KATHLEEN OFFICER, daughter of MR. and MRS. WALTER J. KENNELLY, 209 Lourdes dr., in Girard, and her handsome husband were able to get some marvelous pictures of the queen while in Toronto. Gayle is bringing her family up to date on the wedding trip which took the newlyweds to Quebec and back, before going to Toledo, O., to set up housekeeping, next week.

Ronald David Kremenik
NEW CASTLE - Ronald David "Rocky" Kremenik, 38, 1012 Charles Drive, New Castle, died of a heart attack while hunting Monday in the Titusville area.
He was born in Erie, a son of the late John Leonard and Mary Danko Kremenik.
He worked as a State Police trooper in New Castle, was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his widow, Madeline Sawdy Kremenik; two sons, John D. Kremenik and Andrew P. Kremenik, both at home; and three brothers, John Kremenik of Clearwater, Fla., and William Kremenik and Robert Kremenik, both of Girard.
Friends may call at the Edward A. and Donald G. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 South Mill, New Castle, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Hillsville, Pa., with the Rev. Robert Castelucci officiating.
Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Girard at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Walter Lohse officiating.

Miss Gayle Kathaleen Officer to Mr. John L. Kremenik, Jr.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kennelly, Girard. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Kremenik, Sr., Girard. Given in marriage by her stepfather, Mr. Kennelly. One of the ushers was William Kremenik, brother of the groom. The new Mrs. Kremenik is a graduate of Immaculate Academy, Portland, Oregon and she attended Villa Maria College. Her husband, a graduate of Rice Avenue Union High School, Girard, spent four years in the United States Air Force, and is now employed as a Service Representative for the American Sterilizer Company, Toledo, Ohio.
Out of town guests at the wedding included: Mr. and Mrs. John Durika, Blairsville, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lascek, Tarentum, Pa.
THE WEDDING of Miss Betti Jo Koch to William P. Kremenik, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kremenik, 619 Olin Ave., Girard, took place at noon Aug. 19 in St. John's Church, Girard. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Koch of Deland, Fla. formerly of Lake City.
The Rev. Fr. Francis J. Carrick officiated at the rites for which Miss Jane Fleek was maid of honor, and the Misses Barbara Koch and Sandi Fleek were bridesmaids. Flower girl was Colleen Peckham. Ronald Kremenik accompanied his brother as best man, and ushering were Robert Kremenik and Tim Guzy. Daniel Keep was ring bearer.
Carrying a white orchid on a Bible, the bride appeared in a silk organza gown with reembroidered lace appliques and a full chapel train. Her veil was secured to a lace crown. Pink empire styled dresses with slim chiffon skirts and detachable Watteau back panels were worn by her attendants, who carried pink and white carnations.
A reception was held at the church social hall, after which the couple left for a trip to the Canadian Exposition. They will reside at 53 Dewey Dr., Girard. Mrs. Kremenik is a junior stenographer at Copes-Vulcan Division of Blaw-Knox Co., and her husband is employed at White Consolidated Industries, Fairview.
Girard Couple Wed Saturday
FOR HER MARRIAGE to John Kathaleen Office chose a beautiful Menicino original of imported silk organza. The wedding took place yesterday in St. John's church, Girard. The Rev. J. Carriak performed the 10 a. m. rite.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Kennelly, 209 Lourdes, Girard, formerly of Portland, Oreg. Mr. Kremenik is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Kremenik, Sr., 246 Olin, Girard.
Walter Kennelly, stepfather of the bride, gave her in marriage.
Miss Jeanne King was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Paula Kreger accompanied the bridegroom as best man and ushers were Eugene Malaker and William Kremenik, brother of the bridegroom.
The bride's lovely gown was fashioned with a molded bodice and scoop neckline accented with cotton stuffed rosebuds and hand embroidered appliques which were continued on the short shirred sleeves. The full bouffant skirt had sprays of the same design on the very simple front panel panels which terminated in a chapel train.
Her headpiece was a handmade crown of polished orange blossoms and silk organza leaves and a cascading fingertip veil of imported illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.
The feminine attendants were dressed identically in DDavid Morris original aqua ballerina-length gowns of imported silk organza. The fitted bodices were accented with soft unpressed pleats held at the waist with a Dior bow and featuring a stuffed rose. The very full skirts also featured the unpressed pleats with Schiffli embroidery along the hemline. They wore shaggy half hats of silk organza with circular face veils.
Mrs. Kennelly, mother of the bride, wore a David Morris orginal dress of white silk with royal blue bachelor buttons accented with green sleeves. The dress had a scooped neckline, V-shaped collar in back with short sleeves, white accessories and blue fringed carnation corsage. The mother of the bridegroom wore a Norman original of blue silk organza sheath with Schiffli embroidery, portrait neckline, and fitted bodice. Her white accessories and corsage of white orchids, completed the ensemble.
The reception took place at the Lake Shore Country club. Aides were Miss Lois Elwell, Mrs. Walter Waynist, Miss Kathleen Moore and Elizabeth Rossitor.
The newlyweds will honeymoon in Canada and later reside in Toledo, O. For travel, the bride wore a sage-green silk shantung costume silk with bone accessories and a corsage of tangerine glamilias.
